Tasting Notes

This is absolutely delicious! Blackberry pie, cocoa and espresso beans are bright and lifted on the nose. Flavors of blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, light minerality and a hint of black pepper can be found in this medium to fuller bodied wine. Crisp acid and supple tannins provide just-right structure, finishing with a lengthy mocha note.

WINE INFORMATION

Grapes come from five different vineyards: Weinbau, Ravenscliff, Southwind, Obelisco & Seven Hills. They are fermented by variety in stainless steel and aged in American and French oak.

Established in 2006 The Wahluke Slope AVA Wahluke, was named after a Native American word for "watering place," is an American Viticultural Area located within Grant County, Washington and is home to more than 20 vineyards and at least three wine production facilities.

The winery is in Walla Walla. Seattle native Thomas Vogele and his wife, Kristin, launched Zero One Vintners in 2006. They make Luke and other wines, focusing on Columbia Valley and Walla Walla.
