About the Wine
This estate originally produced dairy and beef cattle as well as grapes. The Bruni family began commercial winemaking in 1974. Today, the winery is run by two brothers—one who is the winemaker and the other who tends to the vineyards. The wines are in small production and all of the grapes are grown on estate-owned property.
The Bruni brothers consider themselves pioneer in the production of Vermentino inTuscany. The first vintages of this wine dates back to 1982. Grapes are fermented in stainless steel and aged on the lees for four months before bottling. The wine spends two additional months in bottle before it is released to the market.
