Tasting Notes

Explosion of freshly crushed berries on the nose lead to the flavors of  black berries, currants, black cherries and baking spices with perky acidity make this wine very refreshing. Soft tannins, smooth and clean finish.

Braving it all The Flying Solo range flies in the face of convention, shunning international varieties in favour of the typical Mediterranean Grenache grape which forms its backbone, blended with Syrah, Viognier or Cinsault. It celebrates the intrepid ‘Aéropostale’ pilots who risked life and limb to ensure postal deliveries in the 1920s.
