This wine has unusual and delightful aromatics, think of fennel, lemongrass, almond and lychee. A rich almost sweet texture with zippy acid and flavors of grapefruit, tangerine and chamomile. Long finish with lingering mineral overtones. fragrant notes of jasmine, peony, and lime.

Clean and zesty with lemon, crunchy green pear, nectarine and fennel. The flavors are clean with good concentration of vanilla, almond, bosc pear and soft peach. The medium weight texture of this wine is balanced, fresh and delicious because the acid is thorough and lees characteristic gives subtly.

This aromatic wine smells like honeydew melon, lychee, nectarines and fresh cut grass. The palate has some snappy green apple and white grape with a zesty juicy level of acidity that balances with the waxy texture. The finish is medium in length with some fresh herbs and melon.

This wine has nice density on the palate and the flavors are similar to the nose with kumquat, ripe peach, melons and minerality. There is a slight bitterness like a peach pit as well.

Aromas of jasmine, peach, honeysuckle and orange. The palate delivers similar flavors while still giving juicy acidity and medium body with bright apricot and apple with nice minerality.

Not only is the bottle unusual for an Italian Vermentino, so is the wine inside. Loaded with pronounced tropical aromatics rather than citrus and mineral notes, the wine is rounded and dense with a soft mouthfeel. The fruit is exotic on a medium bodied frame. A palate full of juicy grapefruit, nectarine, lemon zest and a hint of Mediterranean herbs that lead to an intriguing saline and mineral finish.

From the producer: Brimming with concentrated varietal and mineral aromas of mint, white stone fruit and citrus peel that lead to a round, robust, saline palate with character, ripe fruit and attractive herbaceous elements such as laurel, thyme and fennel.

Aromas of pear, honey and citrus begin the nose of this refreshing white. Very clean on the palate with distinctive minerality/salinity from the limestone terroir. Fresh acid and citrus support rounder pear and lychee flavors with lingering minerality on the finish.

Aromas are subtle but abundant with pineapple, soft vanilla, and some apple. The palate has a round mouthfeel with well-balanced acidity. The flavors are dominated by pear and apple, almond notes, and touches of coconut. The wine is minerally on the finish with medium range texture.

We are impressed with box chardonnay because it is crisp, clean and has a lot of fresh flavors like lemon zest, yellow apple and honeydew melon. It is is medium acidity and medium bodied with a finish of pear and minerality.

Amandla, meaning “power within us” in the local Zulu dialect, is a truly one-of-a-kind venture. The South African wine business is entirely run by Black women, and their delicious wines celebrate the vibrancy of Black culture. The nose shows gooseberry, grapefruit pith, pink grape fruit, and papaya.

From the Producer: Intensive ruby red with purple nuances. Black is a very good representation of Plavac mali variety. On the nose, You can find a lot of cherry and plum scents, as well as some Mediterranean spice such as thyme or oregano. On the palate, it is a full-bodied fruity red, with notes of Forrest-Fruit, and some nice vanilla aftertaste. It is well paired with various meat dishes, but also some traditional blue fish grilled dishes. Very long-lasting spicy finish.

Perfumed with black currant, plum and cassis with touches of baking spice. The texture is lush and high toned with good quality oakiness. It is medium plus in body with fresh violet notes, prominent but supple tannins on the finish and red fruited.

Wild aromatics of cranberry, red cherry, and even dehydrated blueberry with some coffee as well. It tastes powerful but not grippy with very classic Nebbiolo flavors. This is not effusive. It is medium bodied with medium plus acidity and ends with rose water, black tea and some smoke.

Raspberry, strawberry and red cherry with some garrigue. The palate is medium bodied but ripe and savory with soft dark chocolate, integrated smoke and some black pepper.

This wine smells like new oak with mint, cinnamon and other spices with old leather notes. The palate is equally complex as the aromas suggest with licorice, chocolate covered cherries, black pepper, and black cherry. The texture is structured with the young tannins and dark fruit with medium acidity. This wine needs a steak!

This is an excellent value with it’s complex aromas of smoke, earth, forest floor, tobacco, dark cherry, raspberry, pipe tobacco and ripe and baked berry pie. The flavors are repeated on the palate and deliver some more toast and cigar box, with rusticity and black pepper. It is medium plus in body with medium acid.

This is a go-to wine for Mediterranean food with aromas of black and green olives, red raspberry and blackcaps, garrigue and charcoal. The aromas and flavors are complex and support black pepper, licorice, roses and red plums. The palate is structured but medium bodied and has medium plus acidity with integrated tannins.

It is clean, juicy and full of fraise du bois. Juicy red and purle fruit that is fragrant, think of cassis, red currants, wild blackcaps and warm raisins in the sun. The flavors showcase more red spring fruit like wild strawberry and fraise du bois but has minerality and integrated tannins with a stiff upper lip. This is clean, fresh, and charming. 

Aromas include black cap raspberries and black plum supported by touches of violets and black pepper. The medium-bodied palate boasts plum and blueberry flavors supported by herbs and pepper as well as soft, dusty tannins.

An interesting wine with graphite, iron and high toned earth. The fruit has plum, black cherry, and prune with some minerality and chocolate. The palate is medium plus in body with rich flavor that develops and lingers as you enjoy it's taste. This wine delivers espresso, truffle or forest floor, black cherry, and some bitter chocolate. This wine is so pleasant with a very long finish with slightly grippy but rounded tannins.

A fragrant wine with lavender, blackberry, raspberry, warm earth, and touch of wild herbs. The flavors have a good amount of classic Grenache that is fleshy and darkly fruited with grippy structured tannins that give a root like quality. There are some mineral notes and black olives with red raspberry on the end.

Aromas are lightly smoky with black fruits and savory herbs. This wine is just over medium bodied, offering flavors of black cherry, blackberry, tea, dried herbs, black pepper, and sandalwood—interesting and different

This wine is very well done but not big in style with plum, black cherry and red currant. The texture is clean, medium bodied and integrated. The finish delivers a pleasant amount of smoke.

Notes of plum, raspberry, strawberry and some earth. The palate is integrated with medium structure and crisp acidity that finishes fresh and clean.

This is a medium weight wine with good elegance and medium acidity and tannins. The aromas and flavors consist of raspberry, mixed cherries, and juicy plum with minerality.

High-toned black cherry and slightly earthy aromas on the nose. The wine shows a perfect combination of fresh red fruit such as black cherries, raspberries and blackberries. Spice touches and licorice hints contribute complexity. The ageing in French oak integrates subtle vanilla and caramel nuances with dens lingering black berry on the finish.

Notes of blackcurrants, plums, Provençal herbs, tomato leaf and balsamic are found on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, with amazing black fruits and spice, the purity of its Mediterranean upbringing is evident in this wine. This co-fermented Chateauneuf is complex and appealing with scents reminiscent of potpourri, spiced plum, cassis and forest floor. There is something sleek and slick about the aromas, like fine chocolate and wild animal; think truffle. An opulent palate that is lovely, with black tea, bergamot, wild fruit of the forest, raisin, olives and forest floor. This is texturally attractive and nicely balanced with medium acidity, well managed tannins and a long finish.

Strawberry, cranberry, red cherry and some smoke aromatics. The palate is structured with medium plus tannins, medium acid and medium body with flavors like black pepper, plum, and currants.

This is a savory wine with structure and black fruit. There are tar-like earth aromas and floral notes with classic red cherry, raspberry and plum. The palate is not tart but has good cool-climate acidity; it is medium weight with medium-plus tannins.

This is a rich black-fruited Monastrell with concentrated aromas of elderberry, black plum, cassis, and a touch of licorice. The palate offers blackberry pie and is almost port-like in richness, yet touches of tomato leaf and coffee linger on the longer finish.

This Lambrusco is made with a slightly different grape than most, which makes it more dark in color and flavor. Tart cherry, blackberry and black currant with violets. The palate is elegant and focused, with darker fruit, some minerality and floral notes with bright acidity.
