Tasting Notes

Aromas are creamy with notes of vanilla, pineapple, golden apple and lemon curd.  Medium weight with a silky texture, refreshing acidity and integrated oak.  Green and red apples mingle with tropical fruits - grilled pineapple, starfruit, papaya - leading to a long mineral-focused finish.

Ryan William Vineyard is a newcomer to the Finger Lakes with vineyards located on the eastern shore of Seneca lake.  The grapes are 100% estate fruit, and the vineyard is carefully maintained to allow for minimal intervention in the cellar.  Grapes are hand harvested and fermented and aged in French oak and stainless steel.
