This esteemed wine has a complex nose fruit and tertiary notes, dark cherries, fruit leather, earth, charcuterie, leather, and cured meat. The palate is dense and comforting with smoke, leather, wood spice, and kirsch. It is medium plus bodied with present but well integrated acid. Warming, brooding, and delicious.
