This wine is complex and savory with charcoal, smoke, kalamata olives, dried flowers, especially peonies with fresh and juicy raspberries and muddled blackberry. The palate is fresh with volcanic-like minerality. The palate echoes the nose with iron, wood smoke, salty acidity and slightly tart fruit like cranberries or linden berry with pleasant cured meat. The palate is medium plus with tannins and acidity. If you like barolo this wine is for you!
