The nose offers classic cherry and earth notes, singed branches and peppermint. On the palate, this medium weight Burgundy is approachable now, but will continue to deepen and soften with time. It gives fruit of red and black berries, raspberry, lapsang souchong tea and forest floor. The tannins are medium to lighter and nicely ripe; the acidity is juicy.
