This wine is complex with rich aromatics of raspberry, red cherry, a touch of sassafras with old oak and pie crust. The aromas continue with forest floor, vanilla and cedar. The palate is equally attractive showing black pepper, dark earth, strawberry seeds and red peppercorns. This wine has lovely texture that is medium plus in body with slightly grippy tannins and a silky finish that has a hint of pressed flowers. This is tasty, pleasing and would make a wonderful gift.
