This wine begins with an expressive nose of ripe, sweet red fruits wrapped with cedar. The palate delivers raspberry, plum and red cherry fruit along with sage and mint. It is medium-bodied and elegant with very fine texture and fresh acidity. On the palate, the fruit is joined by barrel notes, red licorice and light bramble, creating good complexity.
