A clear and pretty red, this wine offers pronounced wood aromas along with spiced plum, blazck pepper, light black currant notes, dried cherries, and a touch of violets. The wood is well integrated and less bvious in the mouth. Tannins are surprisingly soft for Nebbiolo, and the fruit, though subtle, is fairly forward, mostly black, and not at all heavy. Fresh damson is dominant and mouthfilling, and there's a touch of red fruit as well. Medium bodied with a longer finish. This is a soft Nebbiolo, able to be consumed without food.
