Aromas of truffle, red currants, red cherries, pomegranates and rose are evident here. The palate is medium weight with red cherry, strawberry leather, cran-raspberry, pomegranate, cocoa and a touch of pepper. This has slightly grainy tannin that is typical of Nebbiolo and a pleasant tartness. This wine appeared on Wine Spectator's Top 100 List in November 2022.
