Dried pear and vanillan apple notes meld in a lightly buttery, crisp Finger Lakes Chardonnay made by Master Sommelier Christopher Bates and his father Robert Bates. This is closer to Burgundy than to warm climate Chardonnay and makes an excellent food partner.
