Aromas of macerated cherries and blackberries with dried herbs and fresh sage and touches of baking spice lead to similar flavors as well as berry jam.  This medium-bodied wine has a supple structure and lingering spice and loads of black cherry on the finish. There are fresh preserves, that are not sweet just pure. This wine is tasty, with beautiful suave and fine texture wrapped around acidity. 

Lasagna, risotto, flatbreads with Mediterranean flavors, a charcuterie plate, and seared tuna are good partners.
