Marcelo Pelleriti is an Argentinian enologist with over 30 vintages of experience between France and Argentina. He shares his passion for winemaking with his passion for music and sees both trades as one art.
This wine is made respecting the great wine tradition: manual harvests, lack of fertilizers and, above all, transport of the grape by gravity. Grapes are sorted at the time of harvest as well as at the winery. After fermentation the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barriques.
Mendoza is Argentina’s key wine-growing region with a production of grapes that represent 60% of the national production. In the Uco Valley, surrounded by the Cordon del Plata at the foot of Los Andes, are the the vineyards that make up Marcelo Pelleriti Wines. Vista Flores in Tunuyán, is the heart of the region, it has a continental climate, with 200mm of rain per year. Its soils are rich in minerals and ideal for growing Malbec.
TASTING NOTES
Aromas of dusty chocolate, blackberries, black currants, and a hint of spice. The palate is rich and yet refreshing with elegant structure. Blackberries, bittersweet cocoa, and a hint of toast mix with dark fruits, spicebox, and silky tannins on the palate.
