"95 POINTS - When I first tried a bottle of the 2013 Losares I was blown away. This is a field blend of Tempranillo with some Graciano and Mazuelo and some other grapes (the whites are not added, because they ripen much earlier than the reds and by the time the reds are ready, the whites would be rotten!). It comes from a vineyard planted in 1930 in the village of Laguardia. It has a whispering nose with a mixture of floral and earthy notes, all very subtle and harmonious. The palate shows gobsmacking balance, freshness and minerality, which provide an eternal finish. This is simply superb." - Luis Gutiérrez (Wine Advocate, August 2016)
