Concentrated and rich fruit scents of cassis, blackberry and blueberry with black tea and licorice. It is supple in texture with velvety tannins on a medium plus frame with medium acidity.  Stewed black and red cherries, but not overripe are accompanied by a touch of smoke.  Flavors of juicy blackberry, black cherries, and dates follow through to spices and dried herbs on the long finish.
