The small (0.1 hectares) Clairette vineyard at Le Poste was planted in the 1920s on soils comprised of a high volume of limestone. Grapes are looked after with a careful and cautious eye in the vineyard to ensure that they are picked at the ideal level of ripeness; Clairette that is harvested too late can lose its minerality and finesse when bottled.
Château de Saint Cosme sits on the site of a Gallo-Roman villa and has been in existence since 1416. The property has been in the family since 1490 with 14 generations of vignerons tending the historic site.
