It offers an opulent palate that is lovely, with blueberry, black currant, cooked plums, spice box, black tea, violets and forest floor. There are also hints of minerality and light toast joining with the ripe fruit. This full-bodied, flavorful red still offers "relief" and a sense of freshness which creates balance in the wine. It is texturally attractive and structurally balanced with medium acidity, well managed tannins and a long finish.

On the palate, there are notes of apricot, apples, vanilla,cinnamon, maple, melted butter, golden brown toast and a sweet maltiness, as well as notes of flan and creme brulee topping. Very smooth with integrated alcohol.
