From the producer: This is maintained with the highest standards from the beginning of the process, starting in the field. They maintain the farm in which the Blue Agave is grown. No agave is harvested younger than five years of age and are farmed organically and sustainably. Each pina is super trimmed leaving zero green plan matieral. Only pure white heart of the agave plant is used, to ensure a superior final product. After roasting and pressing, the agave is transferred to open top fermentors. There is undergoes fermentation, utilizing only ntive yeasts. The fermentation time can vary depending on the season, taking into consideration temperature variants. When the agave mash has reached the desired abv, they finally doube distilled in copper pot stills, encusring 100% of the heads/tails are removed. As a point of reference most tequila brands use 5kg of agave per liter of tequila, Suave uses 8kg.
