Melting Potes Domaine Serol 2021

Tasting Notes

Lively notes of mixed currants and smoke that show on the palate as well. There is more blackberry seeds and blueberry on the palate but the tartness from the gamay balances the medium tannin structure. Additional flavors of earth, chocolate and dark fruit develops with some natural rusticity. There is some fresh minerality that threads throughout this wine and makes this wine very fresh.

The gamay is sourced from three different grape growing regions in France, while the syrah and grenache both originate from the Roussillon. These are all vinifed seperately wih partial whole cluster and fermented with indigenous yeast. The wine rests in cement for 6 months and has no filtering or fining.
