This grape native to the Canary Islands off the coast of Africa produces wines with smoky, volcanic flavors. This is evident in both the nose and palate. The wine presents dark berry fruits like macerated cherries and currants with notes of soil, smoked meat, dried herbs and tobacco.  This distinctive red is well-structured and will continue to integrate with time.
