You'll find intense aromas of exotic yellow fruit such as pineapple, mango, golden kiwi and peach along with floral notes of freesia and honeycomb. Flavors of marzipan, beeswax, apricots and some chalkiness are present on the rounded palate, leading to a long, persistent finish.

During the Renaissance, many wines were known as “Greco, Grecante, Grechetto." Montefalco’s Grecante was one of the most appreciated. In fact, the head of the Municipality of Montefalco used to send this wine as a precious gift to princes and important clergymen.
