An elegant Chardonnay that is bright and vibrant with thorough oak use. This is aged in oak and goes through a full malolactic fermentation and stirring of the lees. The aromas deliver baked apple and baking spice with vanilla and some minerality. The palate is full and round in body, quite ripe and shows some underripe pineapple. More power comes through on the palate with French oak notes and richness in the midpalate. This is somewhere between Burgundy and California in profile.
Hints of chalky minerality, key limes, and green apples on the nose, the citrus notes continue on the palate, along with a burst of apricots and fresh cream. The finish is brisk, dry, and refreshing. - 93 Points, James Suckling
