The fruit aromas are note aggressive or shy either with grilled plums, black cherry, cured meat and tobacco jump from the glass. The palate is juicy, yet dry with more plum and cherry flavors and a touch of anise, light earthiness and rose hips, supported by fine tannins and moderate acidity. This wine is smooth and understated for the region, an excellent value.
