Weis Dry Rose 2020

Tasting Notes

This starts out with aromas of florality, raspberries and Rainier cherries. while listed as dry, the palate has such ripeness that it is reminiscent of strawberry coulis or raspberry with some concentration. Acidity is medium, although there's a fresh prickle to the wine and almost a hint of green melon rind to keep it fresh. This is tempered by a black pepper note. This would be lovely with prosciutto and melon or a spicy Thai or Vietnamese feast.
