The 2018 shows off a golden color with hints of botrytis on nose and palate. It is medium plus in weight, with apricot, honey, peach and baked apple, but despite these ripe fruits, it remains dry. Good concentration and juicy acidity lead to a finish of orchard pie fruits and baking spice. This is succulent and round, good for creamy dishes like risotto, as well as cream sauces, white meat proteins like chicken and pork, and Asian curries.
