This medium weight wine is perfect for those who love French wines that are dry, lightly fruity and textural. It's class Chenin Blanc with subtle pear, apple, quince, beeswax, lanolin and some citrus peel. Medium acidity, yet round with a poached pear-tinged finish.
Domaine de l’Enchantoir encompasses 17 hectares (42 acres) and crafts both red, white, and sparkling wines from 40+ year old, certified organic vines. Husband and wife owners Fabienne and Jean-Michel took over the estate in August 2016, and today the team includes the couple’s daughter and her husband.
These organically-grown Chenin grapes were fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged on the lees in concrete vats for 8 months before bottling.
