Aromas of black and red cherries, blackberries, touches of currants and some cedary spice introduce this wine. Vibrant red currant and sour cherry fruit are nicely concentrated, joining with touches of spice on the palate. This is medium weight with moderate tannin and a cranberry finish. Partner this wine with short ribs, braised or cured meats, root vegetables or vegetarian stews.
