Tasting Notes

This wine uses a rare grape called Tinto Velasco (only 50 hectares remain in the world).  It smells of sweet blackberries, truffle and bramble.  The medium plus-bodied palate is incredibly soft and ripe with deep blackcurrant fruit, mulberry, black cherry skins and the minerality of pencil lead lifted by fine acidity.
