Tasting Notes

Aromas of black pepper, savory black fruit like black raspberry, red plum, roasted red pepper and integrated smoke. The flavors are sweet and ripe black cherry, fruit leather and raspberry jam. This wine is medium plus but close to full bodied with medium acidity and beautifully fruited but texturally complex and subtle at the same time. The finish is long and there is some vanilla and baking spice on the palate as well. This is a wine to relish.

WINE INFORMATION

Pendulum Winery is under the umbrella of Percept Wine. Founded in 2003, Precept Wine is the largest privately owned wine company in the Northwest. They are integrated to run their own vineyards, wineries, sales and marketing, world-class tasting rooms and hospitality.

Washington State is a premium wine-producing region located in the northwest corner of the United States. It's the nation's second-largest producer of premium wine. Washington is known for its consistent quality, complexity, true to varietal wines. Washington has 13 American Viticultural Areas (the largest being the Columbia Valley). The Columbia Valley covers almost 11 million acres and represents a third of Washington State's land mass; the vast size of the area allows for a number of meso and micro climates.
