White

92 Points Vinous: A highly perfumed bouquet evokes mineral-laced candied fig, tangerine, white flowers and toasted nuts, and hints of ginger and beeswax emerge slowly. Penetrating, concentrated and emphatically mineral in character, with juicy acidity enlivening orchard and citrus fruit and lemon curd flavors. Rich but vibrant in style, displaying impressive finishing thrust and strong, mineral-driven persistence. (JR)

JL Chave Selections Saint-Joseph Blanc Circa 2019
Complex aromas of fig, tangerine, white flowers, mineral and toasted nuts join with hints of ginger and beeswax on the nose. The palate is equally intricate with a combination of juicy orchard and citrus fruits as well as discernible minerality, spiced baked fruits, and a touch of honey. The wine is quite robust with a persistent mineral-driven finish. A good representation of the St. Joseph Appellation Contrôlée (AC).

Red

Earthy aromas include cured meat, black pepper, warm earth and spice.  This fuller-bodied beauty will grow in complexity with age as tannins are still somewhat youthful. The palate is rich with dark currants and cassis, black olives, and meatiness. Dark chocolate and black cherry skins linger on the finish.

Alain Graillot Crozes-Hermitage 2019
Berry forward aromas of blackcap and black currant with some mulberry. There is a lovely amount of vintage cigar box and forest floor with some tart lingonberry as well. The palate has noticeable tannins, with juicy gravely like texture. There are persistent grape skin like tannins with middle acidity and some graphite on the finish.
