Tasting Notes

Aromas are complex and lifted—black pepper, Chinese spice, and tobacco over red and black fruits.  The palate is ripe, round, and delicious, its blackberry, black plum, pepper, bramble, and smoke providing an interesting interplay of flavors.  The mouthfeel is broad, the tannins fine and sweet.   Medium in body and length.

This Carmenere was harvest at its optimal ripeness, and then the juice was aged in oak barrels for 10-12 months. The wine was then fined, filtered and bottled.
