This classic Napa Cabernet begins with woodsy-smoky aromas blended with blackcurrants and notes of tobacco, baking spice, tree bark and bacon. In the mouth, it is intense and mouthfilling, yet the tannins are gorgeously suave and the wine stays fresh. The fruits are extremely dark (blackcurrants and mulberries), but they don't travel into jammy territory. You'll find a touch of campfire note in the finish.
Enjoy this red with a juicy grilled ribeye or porterhouse.
Aged for 17 months (50% new oak and 50% neutral oak). The 2019 vintage brought cooler growing conditions and plentiful sunshine that ensured slow, even grape ripening and tremendous quality.
