The nose is appealing and a little earthy with gamey animalistic barn notes and some cured meat mixed around with black pepper and dark fruit. The complex palate delivers dark chocolate, black plum and smoke. The tannins are polished and slightly drying on the finish. It is medium plus in body and medium acidity.
