This is a dry blend of vinifera Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah along with hybrid Chelois from the warm 2015 vintage.  You'll find it medium weight with both black and red fruits:  black cherry, black berry, cranberries, raspberries, and herbs.  The wine is fleshy with a slight rusticity and savory depth.

Hector Wine Company is located on Rt 414 on Seneca Lake, in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. It opened its doors in 2010. The winery is owned and operated by Jason Hazlitt (whose family owns Sawmill Creek Vineyards) and winemaker, Justin Boyette.  Jason and Justin have created a professional yet relaxed atmosphere in their winery.  Most of the grapes are purchased from across the street at the excellently-sited Sawmill Creek Vineyards.
