Tasting Notes

Delicate aromas of strawberry, roses, raspberry and tangerine. The palate is surprisingly citrusy and minerally with flavors of raspberry lemonade and seashells. It is clean, crisp, and refreshing!

WINE INFORMATION

This family-run estate is situated in Castel di Lama in the Ascoli Piceno region, in southernmost Marche, with vineyard holdings (45 ha) straddling the Abruzzo line. The main vineyard, in Offida, is hilly (280m-350m), with eastern exposure and a loose clay soil. First planted in the 1950s, the winery is managed today by proprietor/winemaker Quinto Fausti and his son Alighiero.

Grapes come from the De Angelis’ vineyards in the province of Ascoli Piceno. The juice is immediately drained after crushing and malolactic fermentation is avoided. Only native wines are fermented with native yeasts are used.

The wine is bottled with very little sulphur and grapes are certified organic.
