Nice minerality and light smokiness present first with this wine, followed by subtle aromas of mixed berries. The palate is much darker fruited – black plum and blackberry, in particular – rounded out with notes of smoke, mineral, and black pepper. There is a delicious charcoal and raspberry finish to this ripe but medium bodied wine.
