Vinous 89 points - The 2016 Blason d’Issan is a plump, forward second wine from Issan. Sweet tobacco, cedar, leather and licorice add character to this supple, fruity Margaux. Drink it over the next few years..January/2019
 
James Suckling 93 points - This is a fantastic Blason with gorgeous fruit and velvety tannins. Full-bodied and dense with soft and velvety tannins. Lovely acidity at the end. Best ever second wine from here..March/2017
