Gramona III Lustros Gran Reserva 2012

Tasting Notes

Straw hue with golden highlights. Powerful on entry with great structure. Intense nose with clear notes of maturity under a constant veil of freshness. Waxy bosc pear and yellow apple and marzipan hit your nose. Ripe lemon, grapefruit peel and lees driven brioche follow through. The palate shows subtle faded flowers and a herbal backdrop reminiscent of fennel and rosemary. The ageing notes run through a gamut of aromas which includes hazelnuts, pastries, toast, brioche and toffee fine bead, focused and good length to the finish. The carbon dioxide is fine and creamy. The aftertaste is never-ending lasting longer than 3 minutes
