Aromas of dark fruits (black cherry, black raspberry) join allspice and smoky notes and a tiny hint of red cherry. The palate is juicy with nice concentration and bright acidity.  The fruit is dominated by plum varieties, including Damson, with a light, flavored-coffee note and a touch of blackberry. Moderate acid, modest tannins. Overall, nicely structured and well balanced, medium bodied with a longer finish.
