The Dubard family settled down as winemakers in the Bergerac region in the late ’70s. Their vines are situated on calcareous-clayish hillsides overlooking the right bank of the river Dordogne. With excellent South South-West exposure and a trellising system adapted to the spacing between rows, the grapes achieve balanced ripeness each year.
Always a meticulous farmer, Marine’s commitment to vine health was recently recognized by the French government with HEV (high environmental value) certification. This new certification covers biodiversity conservation, plant protection strategy, management of fertilizer use, and management of water.
The 25+ year old Sauvignon Blanc vines are grown on rocky Clay-limestone soils. This is a fresh Sauvignon Blanc fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.
