Notes from the Producer: "If one place at Saint Cosme illustrates the notion of ‘place’, it has to be Le Poste, such is the ease with which it can be identified. Its unique topography and geology make it a source of inspiration for the imagination."

Whole cluster pressed and aged for twelve months in oak (50% 2nd use, 30% in 3rd use). Bottled without filtration.

The St. Cosme estate sits on the site of a Gallo-Roman villa and has been in existence since 1416. Winemaker Louis Barruol took over from his father in 1993 and added a negociant arm of the business in 1997.  The property has been in the family since 1490 with 14 generations of vignerons tending the historic site.
