Smoky, flinty aromas lead to notes of grilled pineapple, toasted hazelnuts, and fresh apple and pear.  This is quite ripe and round with moderate acidity and a great balance of oak and fruit flavors.  Honeysuckle, apple skin, and citrus dominate the palate, culminating in a chalky, mineral-driven finish.
