Tasting Notes
This is an attractive and elegant Gewurztraminer that is on the verge of having perceptible sweetness.  The nose is classic with lovely rose and rosewater aromas, along with sweet citrus.  On the palate, it stays floral with litchi and light tropical fruits mixed with minerality.  It is balanced and not-at-all heavy.

Dr. Konstantin Frank, originally from the Ukraine, is the Grandfather of high quality wine in the Finger Lakes.  He was the first to graft Vitis Vinifera onto Vitis Labrusca rootstock, allowing us to produce world class wines. He experimented with 60 varieties at the vineyards and winery he built overlooking Keuka Lake in 1962.  The winery is now proudly run by the third and fourth generation of the family and turns out consistently great Riesling at reasonable prices.
