Tasting Notes
Pretty—deeply colored, dark and saturated. Sweet, rich, spicy, plummy aromas with a hint of bramble and licorice underneath. Spice and plum continue on the palate, black fruits and chocolate join in, with fine tannin and juicy acidity providing a counterpoint. Medium and more in body and length.
- VINEYARD
- The Bobal vineyards are 60+ years old and in Camporrobles in Valencia. This area has a continental climate influenced by the Mediterranean sea.
- SOIL
- limestone poor in organic material, shallow soils
- VITICULTURE
- practicing organic with very low yields. The vines initially were bush trained, but have now been moved on to trellises.
