Fresh and enticing aromas featuring honey, chalky minerality, quince, and pear introduce this wine. The palate is medium weight with flavors that echo the aromas, accented by notes of apple, and fresh and dried herbs.
Chateau Laulerie is situated on clay-limestone hillsides on the right bank of the Dordogne River. The grapes come from the estate's Guyot-pruned vines, which are maintained with leaf-plucking, debudding, and grape thinning throughout the year to enhance concentration in the fruit. The wine is fermented in stainless steel.
